Join us for a free gentle yoga practice Sundays from 3-4pm. This space is created for LGBTQ+ seniors and allies, but open to people of all ages who desire a slow, mindful practice.
Yoga gives us powerful tools, like relaxation, breath work, and physical postures, that can enhance quality of life and help to ease suffering caused by many ailments including arthritis, chronic pain, and heart disease.
Each class incorporates standing postures, seated postures in a chair, and postures on the floor. Postures can be modified for students who cannot or choose not to get on the floor and students who cannot or choose not to stand. I am trained to work with students that range in mobility, but a class atmosphere necessarily limits individual attention If you are not sure if the class is right for you, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
